I'm A Celeb star makes brutal swipe at Ant and Dec moments into new series

I'm a Celebrity star Alan Halsall didn't hold back when he took a playful swipe at hosts Ant and Dec during the first episode of the new series.The show, which sees a fresh batch of celebs face gruelling Bushtucker Trials in the Australian jungle, has returned with Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly once again at the helm.This year's contestants are hoping to snatch the jungle crown from 2023 winner Sam Thompson.

Just minutes into the first episode, Tulisa, Oti Mabuse, Jane Moore, Danny Jones and Dean McCullough were faced with a stomach-churning drink task before skydiving out of a helicopter.

Once they landed, they met their other five campmates; GK Barry, Coleen Rooney, Melvin Odoom, Alan Halsall and Jane Moore. Half of the celebrities made their entrance by skydiving onto the beach to meet the remaining cast members before the race to camp began.

"I mean they are only small they could be about," he joked, to which Melvin replied: "They're about my height to be fair" In an unexpected twist, Alan revealed his biggest fear in the jungle isn't creepy crawlies or heights - it's bacon and fish!
