I'm A Celebrity favourites get the boot in brutal double exit - and fans are 'fuming'

The fifth and sixth famous faces of this year's season of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! were sent packing this evening (Thursday, December 5) after nearly three weeks in the Australian jungle.

Barry McGuigan and Maura Higgins were voted out by ITV viewers.They followed Melvin Odoom out of the jungle, with the radio DJ leaving the show on Tuesday night.

Fans were left stunned over the savage double exit - with viewers taking to X in droves to comment. One fumed: "MAURA SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE FINAL 4 NOBODY SPEAK TO ME #ImACeleb." A second said: "The English voting the only two Irish out. #imaceleb." "I genuinely thought Maura was a potential winner #ImACeleb," a third penned.

Another added: "British public. Why vote Maura I’m appalled #ImACeleb." Another raged: "WHO THE F**K VOTED MAURA OUT. FUMING." Following his exit, Barry said: "As I'm the original cyclone, I am kinda disappointed with that slipping and looking like a clown, it would've been great," he said of missing out on the famous Celebrity Cyclone.The Irish boxer went on to say that the show was "harder" than he initially expected. "It makes me feel great, all my kids are the same age as him, or around the same age as him," Barry said about "lovely" Danny Jones, who recently commented that the sportsman was like a dad to him.
