Maya Jama set to 'quit' Love Island and be replaced by I'm A Celebrity star

Maya Jama is rumoured to be stepping down from her role of Love Island host next summer when the popular ITV2 show returns.The 30-year-old TV star, who took over hosting duties from Laura Whitmore in January 2023, has always been vocal about her dream of hosting the dating show.

However, sources suggest that Maya might be ready to move on after achieving her lifelong goal. Former Love Island and I'm A Celeb star Maura Higgins has been rumoured to replace the star.The Irish beauty, 34, gained fame and a massive Instagram following after her stint on Love Island in 2019 alongside Molly-Mae Hague and Amber Gill.

After impressing TV bosses with her vibrant personality on I'm A Celebrity, Maura is now reportedly the top choice to replace Maya.

With her recent success as the host of Love Island USA: Aftersun, it seems like Maura could be the perfect fit for the job. A source told The Sun: "Maya adores hosting Love Island and thinks it's a great fit for now.
