A mum has described the horrifying moment she was pushed against a wall and robbed while waking her puppy. Jodie Price set off for a walk with 18-week-old Busby, near to the old railway line, on Cranbourne Road, in Ashton-under-Lyne.

When she walked underneath Cranbourne Bridge a man suddenly grabbed her from behind. Jodie was pushed up against a wall with her back to him.

The man pinned her arms before rifling through her pockets and took her mobile phone. However, Busby kept jumping up at the man and he fled in the direction of Wilshaw Lane.

The man dropped Jodie's phone as he ran away and thankfully she was able to retrieve it. Jodie contacted Greater Manchester Police and an investigation is underway.
