We had unexplained infertility and had been trying for years. My boyfriend Nat, 50, was a father to a child from a previous relationship but I’d never experienced motherhood with a baby of my own.There were a couple of weeks in my pregnancy where everything felt perfect and right, despite the sickness I had.
But then it was picked up on a scan that I’d had a missed miscarriage. It was very traumatic – mentally, physically and emotionally.
