The strange sight was soon confirmed as the test-firing of a Trident-II ballistic missile from a NATO submarine.The low evening sun illuminated the nuclear-capable missile’s vapour trail, making it look even more dramatic.Dozens took to social media to discuss the “comet,” "asteroid" or “UFO” they had seen, with many saying that while it looked like a rocket taking off from Florida’s Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, there had been no advance notice of any launches.Janny Rodriguez from local news station WPTV spoke to Eric.
