Huge queues and empty shelves at Scots supermarkets as lockdown panic buying returns

lockdown starting today. Spring-like scenes have been reported outside grocery giants Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's and Morrisons just hours after the First Minister announced the country would be hit with more harsh restrictions.

The 'Stay at Home' message has once again become law, and just like in March chaotic scenes have been pictured across the country as panic buying started again.

Asda were forced to reintroduce their queuing system after huge crowds gathered outside their superstores last night.In Fife a huge queue was pictured forming right around the length of the car park while similar scenes were spotted in Aberdeen.One angry shopper said: "Now every supermarket is jam packed queuing out the doors, car parks overflowing panic.
