Mountains of rubbish were left dumped on a hill at the popular Fallowfield park after 'hundreds' of people socialised in the sun yesterday.
Pictures and videos taken at the park this morning showed broken bottles, cans and gas cannisters left strewn across the grass.
Bins were overflowing and surrounded by burnt-out rubbish. Dozens of plastic bags were also left behind. This afternoon, as the sun shone over Greater Manchester again, litter pickers have been out at the park helping clear up the rubbish.
