Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Marcus Rashford was always a cut above his Manchester United teammates in the youth team, according to Tosin Kehinde. Kehinde played alongside Rashford during his time in the youth system at United but left the club two years ago having never made an appearance for the first team.
His fortunes have turned out drastically different compared with Rashford, who is now a key player at both club and international level.
Few could have predicted the meteoric rise of Rashford since his days in the academy but Kehinde admits the England international always had something special about him. "Rashford, he was I would say in our age group, from a mentality standpoint he was just ahead of us, a lot of us we were playing and were enjoying it," Kehinde
