ok.co.ukHuw Edwards was seen in court yesterday (Monday 16), still wearing his wedding ring, despite rumours that his 30-year marriage has ended following his shocking confession.The former BBC News presenter, who has fallen from grace, pleaded guilty to three counts of creating indecent images of children back in July.
The offences, which occurred between December 2020 and April 2022, were related to 377 images shared in a disturbing WhatsApp group chat.
Edwards was facing charges for seven Category A (the most severe category), 12 Category B, and 22 Category C indecent images of children.
As a verdict was reached, Edwards was spared jail and given a suspended sentence. Prior to this, he had been a highly respected broadcaster, known for presenting coverage of some of the most significant events in recent history, including the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
