Nolan Gould reflected on spending his childhood in the spotlight and how it changed his life. The 25-year-old actor played Luke Dunphy, the youngest member of the Dunphy family, on Modern Family for all 11 seasons.
While on former costar Jesse Tyler Ferguson‘s Dinner’s on Me podcast, Nolan opened up about the experience, saying that it set him up for a “nonlinear” lifestyle.

I know that like a lot of other child actors don’t have it as lucky,” Nolan said, via People. It opened a lot of doors for him, but he added that he missed out on a lot of things that typical kids his age experienced such as school.
