Zoe Ball's father opened up about how the family supported her through the devastating loss of her boyfriend, Billy Yates, who tragically took his own life.
Back in 2017, Johnny Ball, 86, disclosed their approach to keeping Zoe's spirits high despite the distance between them. Johnny said: "If she was next door we would pop round and say: 'Are you OK? ' but we're 60 miles away.
So we text asking: 'Are you OK? Keep your pecker up. Come on, be strong.'".The veteran TV presenter revealed the importance of work in helping Zoe, 53, cope with grief.
Zoe's boyfriend, BBC cameraman Billy, was found hanged in May 2017 after struggling with depression. He had reportedly also fallen victim 'to a fraudster'.
