Following her return to the Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 on Monday, presenter and DJ Zoe Ball was spotted hitting the shops in London’s exclusive Marylebone High Street a few hours after she finished her radio duties.
Zoe, who was absent from the airwaves for six weeks, hasn’t spoken about the reason she has been away, but she looked relaxed and happy as she carried a large green shoulder bag from one store, while casually dressed in jeans, green trainers and a checked shirt.
The broadcaster, who is the BBC’s highest paid female star, has had a tough year following the death of her mother Julia Peckham, who passed away in April following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
Zoe wrote in an emotional message at the time: "Sleep tight dear Mama. thank you for teaching us how to love unconditionally, to always show courage and empathy, and how, even in the darkest of days, laughter is the greatest of gifts.
