A house dubbed the 'portal to hell' with satanic symbols leading down to the basement is being flogged as a 'savvy investment'.
The 1920s-era four-bedroom house in Salem, Oregon, US, is daubed in 'terrifying' warnings. Photographs of the property shared on Twitter earlier this month have left thousands spooked.
One image shows what appears to be an inverted pentagram, regularly used as a symbol of evil or Satanism, painted on a basement wall.
Others were terrified by a hole in one of the ground floor walls with 'open me and find him' daubed above it, with one user describing it as 'a portal to hell'.
