Hospitals 'will do things differently' in event of Covid-19 second wave, says ICU doctor

Hospitals learned a lot from the coronavirus pandemic and "would do things differently" in the event of a second wave, a top doctor has said.

As infections rise, new restrictions come in to force and local areas are locked down, intensive care consultant Dr Matt Morgan is bracing himself for a resurgence of the killer virus.

The research and development lead for Critical Care at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff has been at the forefront of the fight against coronavirus since day one but told WalesOnline how his and other hospitals are ready to take on coronavirus again.
