The show is now airing the last few episodes of the eighth and final season, and Claire has opened up about what it was like to film her last scenes as Carrie.
Speaking to The Guardian about the moment, Claire revealed it was an intense scene with co-star Mandy Patinkin who plays Saul Berenson.
She said: "It’s not a casual scene. I think for me that was my cathartic moment when I realised it was over, because to say goodbye to it in its entirety is just too abstract and too huge.
