Jack broke a Guinness World Record by becoming the oldest man ever to appear in a soap when an episode of the Channel 4 soap he filmed in April last year, as part of a challenge with Good Morning Britain, was finally aired in June 2019.
The scene in question saw Jack approach a crying Maxine Minniver, played by Nikki Sanderson, to offer her some words of comfort and sage wisdom.
