Hollyoaks star Gabriel Clark has revealed that Ollie Morgan's exit storyline was a "no brainer".The actor took over the role of Luke Morgan's troubled teenage son back in 2020.Over the past two years, he's been at the centre of some dramatic storylines from drug addiction to beginning a relationship with conspiracy theorist Becky Quentin (Katie McGlynn).READ MORE: Hollyoaks stars fear soap will be axed as part of controversial Channel 4 saleHowever, Ollie will bid farewell to the village in upcoming scenes after landing himself a new job in Canada.Speaking about his Channel 4 soap exit, Gabriel explained: "We've been talking about it for quite a bit and I think it would have been wrong to kill Ollie right after Luke dying."When you're leaving a show and talk to people about a soap exit they expect you to be blown up or something but what happens is absolutely right for Ollie."I've had a few chats with Lucy [producer] about what I wanted and I was really pleased that I got to chose his ending which I never expected to do."I had a say in it which was so lovely and his ending is very much connected to the reason why he came to the village which was to find his dad.Gabriel continued: "It was a no brainer really that's he'd go back to Canada and the absolutely right decision at this point."Ollie came into the village as a kid but leaving an adult."The soap star went on to reveal that he's managed to get some items from set to remember his time working on Hollyoaks.He admitted: "I've taken too much.
