Hollyoaks fans turn on Mandy as Darren's forced to battle depression alone

Darren promised partner Mandy Richardson (Sarah Jayne Dunn) that the "old Darren is back" during tonight's first look episode on E4 tonight, but it couldn't be more further away from the truth.
The Hollyoaks resident struggled when he was left alone in the flat. With Luke Morgan (Gary Lucy) and Kyle Kelly's (Adam Rickett) help he managed to get through the day, until he got home and the darkness descended once again.
Fans of the Channel 4 soap were forced to hold back the tears as Darren continued to keep his depression a secret from his loved ones.
