His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

Holly Willoughby has been surrounded by rumours that she is leaving ITV show This Morning. The 39-year-old ITV host has presented the show alongside her co-star Phillip Schofield since 2009.However, it has been reported that Holly, who is mum to Harry, 11, Belle, nine, and five-year-old Chester, could be set to leave to 'pursue work in prime time TV'.The Sun on Sunday reported that she's leaving the ITV sofas behind in order to focus on her own career.However, a spokesperson for Holly has hit back at the claims however, and said Holly has 'no plans to leave'.They told Mirror Online: "Holly loves This Morning and working with Phil."They added: "She is the happiest that she’s ever been on the show and has no plans to leave."Despite denials.
