The former Holby City actor, 39, discovered he had the virus last week during his final rehearsal for a pantomime in Milton Keynes.
A spokesman for the star told the Mail: "Lee Mead has been struck down with Covid and is now isolating alone for 10 days which means that he will not be in the arms of his girlfriend Issy this Christmas or able to spend time with his daughter Betsy. "It was for the first Christmas the four of them – Lee, Betsy, Issy and her son Alfie were going to have a blended family Christmas." The Sleeping Beauty production was closed down when Buckinghamshire was moved into Tier 3.
