Hibs chief executive Ben Kensell has launched a bizarre defence of his squad over claims players breached Covid rules in the team hotel ahead of the Ross County clash That has left the club with just eight available players and forced the SPFL to postpone their visit to Dingwall and upcoming Scottish Premiership trip to Livingston.

Despite the outbreak Kensell insists he is “satisfied” top team stars observed the relevant protocols in their Highland base after a fellow guest claimed to have seen members of the Hibs party failing to wear masks at their base in Inverness.
