Stranraer will leave the court action to Hearts as his own club target rectifying the wrongs of their relegation on the park.
The Blues are facing up to life in the bottom tier after being demoted despite having nine games left to play.Hearts have already got the ball rolling on legal action after the latest reconstruction talks failed to save them from the drop along with Partick Thistle and Stranraer.
And while Stair Park chairman Dougan has backed the Jambos’ move, acknowledging his club could yet benefit from it in a financial sense, he says Stranraer will now focus their attention on winning League Two. “We are disappointed but far from surprised,” he said.
