Harry Potter actor Katie Leung who played Cho Chang in the film franchise has revealed she experienced racism from fans online during filming - and was told to keep quiet about it.
And Motherwell born Katie, now 33, who is of Chinese descent, claims publicists told her to deny what was happening when she told them about it.
Katie says the racist remarks began after her role was announced for 2005’s Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.She told podcast Chinese Chippy Girl: "I was Googling myself at one point, and I was on this website, which was kind of dedicated to the Harry Potter fandom.
