Harrison Ford has been cleared in an investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration for an incident that occurred April 2.
The probe began after the actor and well-known aviation enthusiastcrossed a runway in his small plane where another aircraft was departingat theHawthorne Airport in Los Angeles.
There was no danger of a crash. Ford's Aviat A-1C Husky crossed the western end of the runway while another aircraft was taking off approximately 3,600 feet to the east. "The FAA has closed the case involving the pilot who crossed a Hawthorne Municipal Airport runway without authorization on April 24, 2020.
