Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (born March 5, 1963), better known by his stage name Joe Exotic, is an American former zoo operator, internet personality, musician, and convicted felon. The former owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (a.k.a. G. W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Maldonado-Passage had claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States. He twice unsuccessfully ran for public office, first for President of the United States in 2016 as an independent, and then for Governor of Oklahoma in 2018 as a Libertarian.
Carole Baskin
Carole Baskin (born June 6, 1961) is an American animal rights activist and owner of Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary based near Tampa, Florida. Baskin drew public attention when she was featured in the 2020 Netflix documentary series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness about Oklahoma-based private zoo operator known as Joe Exotic. The Netflix series follows both Baskin and Joe Exotic, filming their ongoing and escalating feuds over exotic animals in private zoos. Following the series' release, Baskin has been targeted by Internet memes related to the disappearance of Don Lewis, her second husband.

Join thousands of others who have signed up for the Daily Record newsletter.A Hamilton tattoo artist has penned a quirky Tiger King tattoo on a customer in aid of charity.Billy Taylor, of Cherry Pie Tattoo and Piercing in Hamilton, made a plea on the shop’s Facebook page for the first person to donate £50 to the SSPCA Animal Rescue Centre in Hamilton and they would receive the tattoo for free.And he was delighted when a customer stepped forward and paid the money to the charity, in turn agreeing to be Billy’s canvas.True to his word Billy, who has worked at the Hamilton shop for the last six years, recently tattooed the image of Netflix sensation ‘Tiger King’ Joe Exotic with his arch nemesis big cat activist Carole Baskin draped in a tiger.
