A gym in Bury has had all of its noise-making equipment seized after residents complained of being constantly woken up in the morning by loud music and bleep tests for nearly two years - with one neighbour saying they were even considering moving home due to the nuisance.

People living on nearby Lodge Road and James Street North say they have been complaining to Bury Council and to the gym directly about the noise, but it has continued regardless. Read more: Student finds HUGE chip in Wetherspoons meal
