Greater Manchester hospitals record one of their highest death tolls of the second Coronavirus wave

direct to your inboxAnother 43 people have died with coronavirus in Greater Manchester's hospitals on one of the deadliest days in the second wave of the pandemic.The total number of covid-19-related hospital deaths in the region now stands at 4,089.In the last 24 hours 13 more deaths were recorded at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust.There were nine more deaths at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, while Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and Stockport NHS Foundation Trust each reported another five deaths.Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust recorded four more covid-related deaths, Bolton NHS Foundation Trust and Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust each recorded three deaths and one more person.
