Investigating officers quickly discovered that the culprits for the gruesome boneyard were a set of graverobbing badgers.They discovered that the furry fiends had been dragging dead people's bones into Ann’s garden from a graveyard down the road.The furry fellas had been using a footpath between her home and the cemetery at Providence Baptist Church to move the remains.Despite pleas from Ann and her family, Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council insisted that the set couldn’t be moved until after their breeding season was over.Lorraine Lloyd, Ann’s daughter, 60, told WalesOnline: “This problem has been going on for a year now and my mum is just sick of it.“The badgers are tunnelling under the graves and when they come across one which has collapsed they drag the bones out and dump them in mum’s garden.
They are basically fly-tipping human remains all over my mum’s lawn and there’s nothing we can do about it.”Civil servant Lorraine added: “I was on holiday when my mum called me in hysterics saying she’d found a human skull in the bushes.
