Government issues update on needing a vaccine passport to shop in Primark, Home Bargains, Aldi and Tesco

As a result, the UK is gearing up to get out and about for the first time in months. During yesterday's speech, Boris Johnson ruled out vaccine passports becoming legal requirements for entering places like ASDA, Tesco, Aldi, Pure Gym and Fitness First.

He said: "I think the most important thing to say to everybody listening and watching is that there is absolutely no question of people being asked to produce certification or a Covid status report when they go to the shops or to the pub garden or to the hairdressers or whatever on Monday." But
