Good Morning Britain viewers said they were left 'spitting out' their coffee this morning as Ed Balls asked Andi Peters an unexpected question live on air.

The presenter was back at the helm of the ITV news programme on Tuesday (July 11) alongside Susanna Reid. And as ever, Andi was on hand to bring viewers all the latest competition news and this morning, he was seen in Rome where he paid a visit to the Trevi Fountain.

But it was Ed who ended up making a bit of an error when he decided to get Andi involved on one of the topics they were discussing on the show.

At the end of the programme, viewers saw TOWIE star Harry Derbridge and Love Island's Liberty Poole debate whether a 'tan tax' should be implemented by hotels after research found that stains from fake tan and heavy make-up on bedding and towels cost the hotel industry nearly £1.8 million a year.
