A police watchdog was asked to launch an investigation in October 2018 in relation to PC Adnan Ali, who ran the Trafford Volunteer Police Cadets.
It followed his arrest earlier that month on suspicion of police corruption, resulting from a report of abuse of position for a sexual purpose.
