TV presenter Richard Madeley has sparked outrage with Good Morning Britain viewers after he told the show's resident weatherwoman Laura Tobin that she had “put on weight” live on air.

Returning to Good Morning Britain screens on Tuesday January 2, Richard was joined by co-host Susanna Reid and guests including Chesney Hawkes.
