Good Morning Britain’s Jonathan Swain challenged Justice Secretary Robert Buckland live on TV in response to the government apparently ghosting the programme.
It has been 22 days since a minister appeared on the ITV breakfast show, so the senior news correspondent attempted to go to them instead.
Host Susanna Reid certainly thought that Jonathan was the man for the job - he was the reporter who ambushed Prime Minister Boris Johnson, before his infamous escape into a fridge. "If anyone can negotiate an interview, it's Jonathan Swain," she said.
In the live footage, Jonathan could be seen speaking to Mr Buckland from a distance as he was conducting an interview with another channel.
