Gig-goers waiting for refunds from a Glasgow venue for cancelled events have accused the organisers of withholding money owned and ignoring calls.

Junction 1 at the Morris Park Complex was launched in June 2021 as an eco-friendly multipurpose event space. It attracted bookings for a number of top acts including Rudimental, Hot Chip and Jungle and the the venue was also set to host its first Junction 1 Summer Festival this year, Glasgow Live reports.

However, organisers axed the main stage line-up at the last minute blaming 'technical issues beyond the artists and festival's control' for the problems. Those who had bought tickets for the Saturday show were told that they could attend they next day for free and that refunds would also be issued.Months later, disgruntled ticketholders are still waiting for refunds and are facing a wall of silence from organisers. One customer attended the venue on Saturday only to be met with the sight of the main stage being disassembled.

The staff there told him the tickets would be refunded but months later he's still waiting on his £90 to be returned. But after sending numerous emails to their customer service address, he is yet to hear anything back or receive his money. He told Glasgow Live: "After the fiasco with the Saturday main stage, I was sent an email saying they'd be in touch soon but if I wanted I could go on the Sunday - which I didn't."I've emailed them four times now to no response.
