Glasgow cops probing five firebomb attacks on plush homes and luxury cars in just three days

Glasgow area.As well as attacks at the homes of Celtic chief Peter Lawwell and nightclub tycoon James Mortimer, two other luxury addresses were targeted.Celtic supremo Peter Lawwell has no obvious connection to businessman James Mortimer, an ardent Rangers fan who has been involved with many big enterprises in the city over several decades.The first report of a petrol bomb came at about 10.40pm on Monday at a home in posh Bothwell.A £264,000 Rolls-Royce Cullinan supercar was torched during the firebomb blitz.The 4x4 was parked on the drive of enterpreneur Stephen McCann, boss of PPI Scotland, which made a fortune chasing compensation for people wrongly mis-sold insurance.Calls to McCann’s office were not returned.Police believe the same.
