Peter Lawwell's panicked neighbours woke up to the sound of 'fire crackers' and screeching sirens after a blaze broke out at his home following a suspected petrolbomb attack.
Lawwell and his family were forced to flee their property after the incident around 1am this morning and police and fire crews have now launched a probe into the attack.
One resident who ran to his window after being alerted to the blaze told how his friend who lives next door to the Celtic chief heard fire cracking outside.
