Jazz Tangcay Artisans Editor GLAAD board members Frankie Grande and Peppermint are among those who have penned an urgent letter to casting directors, producers and creatives behind reality TV to “take a bold step towards inclusivity.” In the letter, Peppermint and Grande push for authentic representation that is reflective of the diversity of LGBTQ lives.

Joining them are a host of stars including Amrit Kapai, Bob The Drag Queen, Braunwyn Windham,Britney Haynes, Chrishell Stause, Christian Siriano, Derrick Levasseur, Greg Mathis Jr & Elliott Cooper, Jazz Jennings, Margaret Josephs, Meghan King, Monét X Change, Nicole Byer, Nicole Franzel, Paulie Califiore, Priyanka, Rachel Riley, Racquel Chevremont, Taylor Hale and Xavier Prather, Ilana Glazer, Zeke Thomas and Ts Madison.

Said Grande, “It’s the responsibility of casting directors, producers to make sure that there is inclusivity within our community represented on the show.

Otherwise, we’re a monolith. Otherwise, I am representing the entire queer community…There is a formula that has been in place for decades that is no longer working for our community.
