Aminah Hayat, 19, was allegedly murdered by her partner Meraj Zafar in in Sydney, Australia, and her body was badly damaged from hydrochloric acid filled into a bath.Her parents, Abu Hayat, 41, and his wife Mahafuzer Akter, 39, have spoken out about how they are struggling following seeing the horrific injuries to their daughter’s body.They have said that they will no longer be able to bury their daughter in Bangladeshi funeral tradition due to only one foot being left untouched by the chemical.The Bangladeshi tradition shows the face of the deceased to family to see the face while mourners are praying.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, her parents said they can no longer see their daughter’s face after what was done to her body.Mr Hayat said: “I cannot see the last moment of my daughter's face because of what was done.”Her mother Mahafuza added: “My beautiful daughter...my daughter, so pretty, I cannot see my daughter's face.”Court papers revealed that Aminah may have been left in the bath for over a day before she was found.This is due to police believing she died between midday and 5pm on Saturday.Worried relatives raised the alarm and police broke into the bathroom to find Aminah’s body dissolving in the acid bath.Parramatta Police Area Commander Superintendent Julie Boon said: “The officers forced entry into the unit and inside the bathroom they found the body of a female.“I can confirm there were chemicals found inside the bathroom of the unit.
