The ever-controversial Jose Mourinho grabbed the headlines once again as he was shown red in the dying stages of Roma's draw with Hellas Verona - before being held back by his coaching staff.

The colourful Portuguese boss watched his side go 2-0 down early on and cut a furious figure on the touchline. He turned to his bench in the second half and teenagers Cristian Volpato and Edoardo Bove both scored to level it up after coming on.

But Mourinho, who famously declared himself "the Special One" at Chelsea, was far from satisfied as the full-time whistle approached.

He appeared unhappy with a number of decisions from whistler Luca Pairetto and was seen aiming a phone call gesture at him - an apparent gesture to the referee's father Pierluigi's involvement in the infamous Calciopoli match-fixing scandal of 2006.
