George Bowie was reunited with his brother after being torn apart for a year amid the coronavirus pandemic. The Clyde 1 DJ shared a heartwarming snap of the catch up with his brother Alan, who has disabilities.

Alan lives in a care home, which saw visiting brought to a halt as Covid-19 deaths soared. As Scotland works to contain the deadly bug, indoor care home were given the go ahead at the beginning of this month.Delighted to catch up with his younger sibling, Greenock-born George donned PPE to grab a quick selfie to commemorate the special moment.He wrote on Instagram on Thursday: "My wee brother is disabled and in a care home haven't been able to get in to see him for a year . . .
