A "gentle giant" who didn't think anything of his frequent heartburn died suddenly from a hidden condition. "Perfect father, husband and son" Adrian 'Aidy' Mansfield had seemed fined before collapsing and dying from a disease of the heart which had remained completely undetected.
The 6ft 7in "life and soul of the party" died aged just 41-years-old and leaves behind five children, M.E.N reports. His wife, Annmarie told an inquest at Bolton Coroner's Court heard that her husband did not drink booze to excess nor did he take drugs.
A smoking habit was limited to around 10 to 20 cigarettes a day. But he often complained of heartburn and "slept with Rennies by the side of the bed".
