Twenty-three-year-old Henderson returned to United in the summer following an impressive two-season spell on loan at Sheffield United.
He has so far provided back-up for David De Gea but made his Premier League debut for the Reds when he came off the bench in last weekend's 3-2 win over Southampton.Speaking to Viaplay Fotball, Neville says it is right that De Gea is considered the first-choice goalkeeper after his improved form at the start of this season.
The former United defender also said that he will not be excited over Henderson's potential at Old Trafford until he turns that into regular.
