Gareth Southgate believes England have to become more streetwise before they can win a major tournament.The Three Lions have not won a trophy since landing the World Cup on home soil in 1966.Since taking charge in 2016, Southgate has led England to the World Cup semi finals and Finals of the inaugural Nations League in Portugal.Southgate, who will lead England into the postponed Euro 2020 tournament next summer, signed a new contract in 2018 that will see him remain as boss until the World Cup in Qatar in 2022.Southgate admits he is committed to making England winners again - but believes the team has to develop a different mentality first.He said: "When you are in this role you have to keep winning matches.
