Louis Theroux says platforming extremists in new BBC docuseries “cultivates empathy”

Louis Theroux has defended his reasons for platforming US extremists in his new docuseries Forbidden America.In an op-ed for The Guardian, Theroux previewed his latest BBC Two series with details about the people and topics he explores.
