A fresh gangland feud linked to the Daniel crime clan has erupted after the home of a ‘rat’ was targeted in Dumfries. The low-level criminal reportedly had a £5000 bounty placed on his head while serving a sentence at HMP Kilmarnock after mouthing off about the Glasgow family.After his release at the start of this week, the windows at his home were allegedly smashed during a late night attack by two masked men.
Reports have since emerged that an accelerant was poured over the front door of the property on Tuesday night as a warning to the yob.
It is understood that the liquid was not ignited but chilling threats of further attacks have been issued by alleged underworld figures.
An account on Instagram shared a video of a car driving past the man’s property, which has a boarded up front door. One post read: “Chat s**** get left with no window.
