It looked like City and their Champions League semi-final opponents Real Madrid were set to go head-to-head for his signature, but according to Spanish radio station El Partidazo de Cope (via Sport Witness), everything indicates that Erling Haaland will sign for City this summer, with Madrid already 'cooling down' their efforts to sign him. Elsewhere, River Plate president Jorge Brito confirmed to Radio 10 in Argentina that Julian Alvarez is 'very likely' to join City in June instead of January.
