A furious mum has slammed the Government's £30 'shameful' free school meal food parcels by showing what she donated to her local community for a similar price.
The parent, who has asked to be anonymous, organised 30 parcels for struggling families in east London to help them over Christmas - each costing £33.
In addition to food items, the big-hearted mum also made sure cash-strapped recipients received cleaning products such as washing powder.
