Freddie Gibbs drops James Blake-produced “Dark Hearted”

Later this month Freddie Gibbs will release new album $oul $old $eparately. He has already previewed the album via Moneybagg Yo collaboration "Too Much" as well as freestyling over an Amerie beat for Funkmaster Flex on Hot 97.

Today he drops off "Dark Hearted" with an assist from James Blake on production. $oul $old $eparately will be released on September 30 and Gibbs is in a confident mood.

Speaking to Flex during that same freestyle appearance he said he's "coming for album of the year. That's the mode every time I drop an album." The stacked tracklist would back that idea up, featuring appearances from Pusha T, Offset, Raekwon, Anderson .Paak, Musiq Soulchild, DJ Paul, Rick Ross, and Kelly Price.
