Frank Lampard has leapt to the defence of Kepa Arrizabalaga and claimed the widespread criticism of the Chelsea goalkeeper has "become unfair".
Kepa was dropped for back-up shot-stopper Willy Caballero for the Blues' last two games after a costly blunder in the 2-0 loss to Liverpool last week.
His shaky start to the season follows an error-laden 2019/20 campaign which called into question his £71million price tag. Kepa's tenure as Chelsea's first-choice goalkeeper appears to be over after the Blues signed Edouard Mendy from Rennes for £22million last week.
